One of my images was shared on the ClickinMom’s blog today!
Ashley Spaulding is one of my all time favorite photographers, ever. I came across her blog last summer and her work inspired me to get back to photographing my kids doing what they do as we go about our everyday lives. I fell in love with her work, it’s gorgeous,it’s simple, and most importantly it tells the story of what was important at the time the photo was taken. When I found out she was teaching a class on how to achieve what she does, I HAD to sign up! I was in the last run of the course, held back in October of 2012, and cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Ashley is so gracious with her knowledge, she holds nothing back, answers all questions and gives incredibly helpful feedback to every participant in the class. It is her passion to teach others how to do what she does so well, it comes through so clearly in her PDF’s, feedback and video tutorials. She even holds a skype session for a couple of hours towards the end of the class where everyone can log in and watch her edit live and ask questions as she goes. I can honestly say I saw a lot of growth following her class, in my work as well as the work of my classmates. So why am I telling you all of this? Because there is another run of the class coming up next month, anyone who is interested in learning how to better photograph their child(ren) should consider signing up, you won’t regret it, it’s worth every penny 🙂
To learn more about the class you can find info here, and be sure to check out the first image featured here…it’s mine! And you can check out Ashley’s blog here
